Our risotto was created the old-school way. Caramelize onions in olive oil, add the risotto and toast slightly, deglaze with white wine, slowly add stock. Boom. Finally, the basil pesto and sautéed mushrooms are added.

Crimini Mushrooms — Cremini mushrooms (aka young portobello mushrooms) are rich with micronutrients such as antioxidants and potassium, and are high in fiber, too. Not only do these little fungi add a ton of flavor but they are a great way to promote everyday health.
Arborio Rice — Arborio is an Italian short-grain rice, best-known for its use in risotto. Its high starch content and chewy texture are responsible for the creaminess that risotto fans adore.
Basil — Basil's sweet and savory notes perfectly compliment the deep, earthy flavors from the mushrooms.
